The problems with fuel that people require to heat the houses in winter strictly emerged in the XX century. Such materials as squared timber blockhouses and beam frames lost their capability to suit the demands of modern energy efficiency. There are provided strict norms for thermal shielding of houses in Europe. Persons require efficient heat insulating stuff to implement the demands of these norms. The thickness of external walls must be different for different types. For instance, 150 centimeters for brick walls, 50 centimeters for squared timber walls and 15 centimeters for wooden carcass walls.

This building technique is considered to be a Canadian one. Frame houses are distinguishing trait of Canadian style of architecture. In the early 1990-s appeared one more notion that partly defined this technology - sandwich - panel houses.

A construction that will follow all the modern demands in energy conservation, comfort, ecology and fire safety, should be built due to carcass technology with effective thermal insulation materials. Read the rest of this entry »
